POINTS TO BE CARED FOR BEFORE BUYING ANY CAR

We get a wide range of brands and a variety of segments in automotive sector to choose from, whenever we plan to buy one.But what are the points should be kept in mind before buying one. Here is some of them:-

1)Plan your tour:-
first of all check your distance covered in one day.see wherther you want one for city ride or for highways or both. This helps in deciding the segment of vehicle you want to go for.

If your are limited to city drive only then small car like hatchback segment will suit you.. considering your whole family accomodates easiy into it,if not then go for sedans of muv type vehicle. But hatchback is the best one out of these three because there is a big problem of parking in every cities of India.

For highways more power is required so you can go for SUV,MUV or SEDANS section and if you travel more than 1500kms(why >1500kms? will be explained separately in upcoming posts) daily then you can opt for diesel varients.

2)Check after sales services of all brands of car makers:-

Purchasing a elephant is easy but very hard to feed it:-D. Meaning to say check the after sales services of the brand you want to go for. See whether it is in easy reach when travelling on highways. See how many free services they provide.Check the warranty life etc.Automotives giants like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra provide an appreciable services.

3)Decide your Budget:-

Most importantly make your budget, how much you want to spend on a new car.

4)Take reviews:-

The best thing you can get is from a person if he has the same vehicle which may have chose to buy.Inquire about the mileage, value for money etc.

Never go easily for a car which has been recently launched in the market because chances are there that it may not hit the market and thereby you have to face problems while you go to purchase any spare parts in future.

5)Go online:-

Visit the companys website to get an exact details of all versions coming in the car and the corresponding features in it like power windows (front & rear also or not), power steering, ABS, air-bags etc…

6)Visit the authorised dealer:-

Go to the authorised dealer of the company check the price list of various versions, time taken for delivery or waiting period if any.

7)Date of purchasing:-

Since India is diversified in culture and various festivals so do make out a profit of it.If you fix your date of purchasing before any fectivals like Dhanteras, Durga Puja etc you may get some good offers from the company as well!
On the other hand if you fix your date before the BUDGET SESSION in the parliament chances are the that there may be increase in SERVICE TAX and company would manage some extra bucks out if your pocket!!

8)Mode of payment:-

Check whether you are ready to make downpayment at a time or planning to take a loan.Inquire about various processes involved in it.

Finally here is your car waiting for you!!!
