Again after such a long time i got my hands on the bike which is now leading the 150cc bike segments in terms of Power, Styling , Technology and Price Tag also which is none other than Honda CBR 150R.
LOOKS:-
When the mid range segment like 150cc are taken into consideration there are a lot more expectations made by the riders from the bikes. 150cc segments means looks & styling , power, riding comfort ,mileage , overall performance of the bike. The time when i saw the bike CBR 150R, the points like styling and looks was very clear to me that its worth it. The moment i got the bike into my hands the feel was very good. the instrument cluster looks good but the digital speedometer size is a bit small which can create trouble in reading if you are having specs.
But the performance was the main question and indeed Honda holds a benchmark in terms of performance.
ERGONOMICS:-
The best part i found was the handling and riding posture was very comfortable for long drives and even the tank are designed like that you can easily grab it with your thighs for better stability while cornering. This bikes again comes under sports tourer segment like its elder sibling HONDA CBR 250R.
PERFORMANCE:-
The engine self starting button responded quickly and in secs i can hear the machine roaring. The bike had already run approx 550 kms and the 1st free servicing was not done so i decided not to exceed the speed limits. Well the first gear was not so tall and but was having ample amount of torque which is 12.66nm@8500rpm. The 2nd & 3rd gears were again quite smooth and i was driving on around 50kmph speed. The bike was very silent and the acceleration was also good enough considering that the bike has still not run 2000kms.
While slowing down the rear disc plays its part well and even the 276mm front dics are awesome for a 150cc bike. The front suspensions does its job very well and the rear mono suspension is at a bit more height not a big issue because of rear grab rails.
FUEL EFFECIENCY:-
Since my ride was not so long enough to check the mileage of the bike but expected mileage is around 35kmpl for city drive which is quite less for 150cc bike but i may increase after few servicing is done.
The overall aspects of the bike is quite good except a few cons like very high price tag around Rs 1.5 lacs on road in Bangalore for 150cc bike which indeed is a big drawback from market point of view where there is very tough competetion for the throne of 150cc segment with players like YAMAHA YZF R15 V2.0 .
Your comments shall be highly appreciated.

Honda has spent many years on Indian road and after a long period of time the Honda CBR 150 has been launched officially in India. According to the survey it will be a good competitor of Yamaha R15. The Honda Cbr Mileage is also good in comparing to other bikes.
Yamaha YZF R15 has set an new trend of full fairing bikes & elite class performance in the league of Indian bikes and indeed Honda CBR 150 R has taken a forward leap in this respect by upgrading their 150cc segment bikes.
